THE WILDLIFE WORKS

There are a great many constraints placed upon the Britain's wildlife today but also an increasing awareness of the value of biodiversity. Many people  have great passion for plants, animals and the landscape because of the staggering beauty of nature There are however other reasons for working with wildlife such as:-

Site development applications that may require practical work to mitigate habitat loss. Providing for the needs of wild plants and animals in new developments can be a great way to display ecological awareness to both planning authorities and potential customers.

Industrial areas, quarries for example, can provide superb opportunities for wildlife. Plans that realise such potential and the specialist knowledge necessary to implement them are not always readily available.

Countryside Stewardship and the English Woodland Grant schemes help many landowners  who are anxious to conserve habitats on their land by offering considerable financial assisstance. The assessment and application process however can be time consuming and awkward.

The Wildlife Works would like to work with you on your conservation project

We aim to provide a wide range of practical and technical services to assess, monitor and conserve species and habitats in the British landscape.
